Dont be fooled! Sign at front states no soliciting. Soliciting is permitted and even defended by the managment. An Ice cream van makes many trips through the complex on a daily basis. This wouldn't be a problem except for the loud megaphone on top of it that announces its arrival with childrens music. I confronted managment and they acted as if it was not really a problem, but offered to ask the solicitor to turn the music down. It never happened.

Next problem: Kids run wild!!! The play area is small and kids use the parking lot for romper room. They take great pride in destructive games like throwing rocks at each other (next to your car). Smashing rocks on pavement etc...They also have some fascination with disturbing others property. Spitting on your car windows and tweaking your mirrors. Perhaps the most aggrivating is that they adore screaming between the hours of 3-9pm. The screaming is constant and almost always in a language other than English. There are at least 8-15 kids that are outside DAILY. I dont mean these things happened once. It is a DAILY way of life to scream and "play".

Next: Over occupied. There are at least 8 people living in the unit next to me. It is a very very diverse complex.

Next: Stray animals like to make love at night. Very loud love.

Next: Ground crew (contractors) have no respect for personal property. The front spoiler on my car has been drilled by weed-eater more than once. The last thing of mine hit by a weed eater was my motorcycle tire! When the grounds are mowed expect your car to be covered with grass then cleaned up via leaf blower.

Next: Expect apartment or vehicle break ins or theft to occur in the complex at least every two months. Little offered in terms of security. You are the security.

Next: Complex is over 30 yrs old and wiring is unsafe. Check the wiring in the utility closets. Exposed and frayed wires are common!

Next: Illeagals. Lots of them. Hang out in the halls and parking lot taking on cell phones. They also like to watch TV in the club house / fitness center. Prop up on the equipment and catch a reality show with Spanish subtitles. Very annoying!


Good things...
Maintenance is very good in terms of fixing what may break. Office staff convey a willingness to make things better even if they don't follow through.

Perhaps some of these things are just a part of living in an apartment, but some of them are not. My advice, spend some time hanging around a place before moving in...

I don't live here, but I do want to comment that just because people talk on cell phones in parking lots (as annoying as it may be) and watch Spanish TV doesn't make them "illegal." That you wrote such a dumb statement makes your whole complaint look ridiculous.
