Have lived here since 2003...

I have lived at West Hills since 2003, and will be moving this month. As far as my experience, I've had positives and negatives. I would have to agree that the parking could be a whole lot better. The children who choose to play in the middle of the street need to be supervised. Everyday on my way home from work I have to drive extremely slow b/c they are playing soccer, kickball, skateboarding, or whatever in the paths of cars. I've had issues with leaks from the ceiling, smelling cigarettes from the vents, among numerous other smells. I did like the washer/dryer room within the building, although I disagree with paying $1.25 to wash and the same to dry. I am moving into a townhome, and I have to admit I am excited. No more noise above me or smelling what they are having for dinner. My parking is assigned, so I don't have to park a mile away. I've seen my rent increase from $556 to $563, to whatever it would have been if I renewed my lease. The staff has been nice, so I do appreciate them. I liked the location. I would suggest that for each increase in rent, you should see something improved.
