The apartments are very spacious and well designed. The views from some of the upper floor apartments are very nice. I moved in about a month and a half ago and I still really like this place.
All of the staff have been very friendly and accommodating with any thing they could do. These are older apartments, so there are probably going to be some maintenance problems eventually, but when I did call about a problem, it was always fixed either later that day or early the next. I haven't had to make repeated calls checking when someone will come out, which I love. The office staff always check up after the maintenance to make sure it was fixed.
There are a couple of negatives. Some of the shared walls are thin enough to hear people talking loudly or kids playing next door, but I haven't heard any sounds from the apartment above or below mine, except once when the bass was shaking the place. And yes, there is an ice cream truck that comes through 1 to 2 times a week. It's usually between the hours of 5 and 9.
I'd definitely recommend the apartments if you don't need to be downtown and you want a quite place to raise kids or get away from the main city.
