Okay. Where should I begin' We rented an apartment here because they accept large breed dogs. We were taken to a "model apartment" that is very well put together, and told that this is what our apartment would look like. Yes, they were the same, except that unlike the model apartment, ours came with many extras. Upon walking in, you could smell cat urine. The carpets were nasty, the ceiling in the kitchen was warped, the bathroom door looked like some animal tore the bottom all up, there was a hole in the hallway floor that was covered up by the carpet. Oh.. The refrigerator. We opened it up (Mind you that this apartment was cleaned by professionals) There were Maggots and Flies in Our FRIDGE!!! We called the emergency number because it was on a Saturday. The maintenance man told us that they wouldn't be able to get a new one to us until Monday. Well, we made it clear that Maggots in the Fridge was definately a health violation, and then in less than 30 minutes, we had a new fridge where the old one sat. After several disagreements with management, they finally agreed to replace our carpet, but not in the bedrooms. So, the hole that was in the floor under the carpet... Just re-carpeted over it.. We had five seams in our livingroom carpet. We agree with everyone that says that there are like 10 immigrants to one one-bedroom apt. The only thing that the management care about are making that money, even if it is at the expense of their current residents. They will BLEED you dry if you try to move out... But guess what' SO LONG SUCKERS!
