:( From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 6/14/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008 1 response   i live here and i was just evacuated from my building because of brown recluse spiders falling out of the air vents. i killed 6 in 1 week and saw them crawling out of the vents. i called twice and no one showed to spray until we brought one to the manager-if they are crawling out of the air vents then they are in the walls too-one fell on my face when i walked down stairs and out the door-if that would have bitten me it could have rotted my face off-if you are a current resident and you see spiders that are small brown to black,the size of a quater, and with fiddles on their back be leary! most people dont know that they are recluses and with people constantly moving in and out they tend to bring spiders and roaches with them into the apt complexes-which is a given, but it is the complexes responsibility to do proper inspections-and about the spiders, dont let management tell you different-because they will- we moved into a 1 bedroom and the first day in there were roaches crawling out of the stove!its really gross and im pretty lit about it-so it isn't always the person, just poor bug inspections-there were fresh animal pee stains everywhere the air conditioner pipes broke when we turned them on it was pretty gross--not to mention ups delivered a package to me on my door and when i saw it someone had taken a knife and opened it-i guess to see if there was anything worth stealing-also the neighbors cooking has the whole hall smelling like rotten mexican/indian food-which we also noticed on the first day of moving in-then i had to listen to the neighbors above me screw off and on all night from 1:30 am to 4:30 am-i mean seriously-its really retarded.cant win for losing-and i don't really want to have to move again across town-cause ive been here a few years but it is getting stupid.not to mention every time i call the office they act like they have no idea what is going on i.e. example= it has been a week since moving in and still no mail box keys-i've been in everyday and it is like i have to tell the same girl the same story every day about getting them-as if she has no capibility of remembering-its not rocket science-its cutting key-it takes 5 mins-it used to be pretty nice to live but over the last 3 years it has gotton pretty ghetto :(
