Potentially nice apartments, but mismanaged.

I moved here in July 2002 and am a current resident. The apartments themselves are nice and the other residents are quiet, responsible people. This could be a great place to live, but the management staff makes it needlessly difficult.
They sometimes try to charge me for cable when I don't have cable, and the exercise equipment is chronically broken and never properly repaired. But that's the least of the problems.
Just last Monday morning, there were workers on my roof. I had worked Sunday from 5pm until Monday at 5am and had to go back in Monday at 5pm and work again until 5am. Then I had school Tuesday from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm Tuesday through Friday. The apartment staff said the workers had to fix a lot of the chimneys in the community, so I asked if they could do mine anytime Tuesday-Friday when I was at school, but that I needed to sleep Monday because of work. They said "no". I called RAM Partners in Atlanta and they didn't care either, so I had to spend the day at the Holiday Inn to rest up for work and had pay for it myself, in addition to my apartment rent.
The good news is that the neighbors are nice people and quiet. It's too bad the apartment staff is so noisy to where I can't get proper sleep.
