Don't rent from Bristol Park!!!!! You will be very unhappy. The office manager is a liar and rude and they will lie to you about everything. Apartment was filthy with bugs, carpet was nasty and it smelled. It is Ghetto!!! They have illegal practices and watch when you go to move out--They will try to nickel and dime you in false cleaning charges. But it is more like a months rent in false cleaning charges. Please be careful renting from them!!!!

Yes, you are right I have rented from Bristol Park and I had the same terrible experience as I am having with you, and I want other people to learn from my mistakes. Being a home owner for 9 years prior to moving Tennessee, I was very naive and unfamiliar with the unscrupulous way that you operate. Since my husband is an automotive engineer and with the current state of the economy, we don't feel secure signing on a year lease due to the fact that he could be laid off at any given moment. We moved down here for his job and if he were to lose his job we do not want to be stuck here or in a lease. Because as we know if you break a lease we will be looking at $3000.00 at a minimum. These are very hard and serious times in the economy and the job market is extremely insecure. Instead of trying to work with tenants you are working against them and trying to price gouge them.
Upon moving in July I signed a 3-month lease for a premium above-market-rent. Paid $1003 for a 2 bed 2 bath. I was told that the safety of the lease was to protect us in the case there was a rent increase and our rent would not go up unless market rent went up. After paying Marches rent, about 7 days after there was a note on our door saying we were $19.47 short and it stated it was for the water bill. I called to inquire and was told "that my lease was up in Feb. and that my rent increased". Not, what was stated on the note they left for me. I was not aware that my rent was increased and did not receive anything in writing prior. I have been told many different things this past week. Upon looking at craigslist the same day a 2 bedroom, 2 bath was advertised for $820.00. The office staff said it was a special and different from market rent. As anyone can see you need renters but yet you are trying to price gouge the current tenants that you have. You guys have told me many different stories this week different prices in market rent for the apt.
When I say you guys I mean the office staff that responded on this site stating that I said the same thing about Bristol Park. Do you want to give out any more personal info on me? Yes, it has been a terrible experience renting from both of these places. They are not happy just getting the monthly rent (at premium rates, on time) but they want to take you for every penny they can. I have learned that if you make one mistake and not get everything in writting and take pics upon move out they will try to take your hard earned money unfarily and illegally. And make sure you do a walk through with management with a camcorder proir to moving out to avoid unjust cleaning fees.
I was told many different things when I signed this lease compared to what they are now stating. And I find it funny how you (the managemnet) replied so fast to my review. If anyone clearly wants to see how the office staff is just read the replies to these reviews, you can cleary tell which ones management responded to and there tone to the renters. (Scroll down to see fast counter reply....lol)

I agree too. We owned a home in Texas before moving to Nashville last August due to my husband's job, and I was shocked at how incompetent and unresponsive the office staff was to our service requests. They call themselves a premier community and I was grateful to have a garage, but the management did not provide "premier community" customer service. Each time I had a service request, it took 3 separate requests before anything was done. One morning I discovered the spring on my garage door had broken and my car was trapped inside (the emergency lever did not work) and I was in the office in person when they opened that morning, asking for assistance. It took 2 more calls and 3.5 hours before the maintenance guy came by to take a look. They couldn't have been that busy, either, because when I went to the office that morning, the entire staff was gathered around eating donuts.
Also, the apartments are not energy-efficient at all. My electric bill was the same there for a 2-bedroom apartment as what we are paying now for a 3-bedroom house, and my daughter's bedroom was always freezing cold in the winter because it backed up to an open space on the 2nd floor.
Lastly, they don't enforce the parking there. Frequently I would have neighbors' cars parked in front of my garage blocking me in.
