Decent Place

This is a small community. There was a fire in the B Building in 2003. They fenced off the building. The building was still unrepaired during 2004. Also, someone was found dead one morning on the property sidewalk (in front of the F building) in fall/winter 2003.

There are roof leaks; be sure to check the ceiling and walls on the top floors for painted-over leak stains. The repairs will be made in a timely fashion, but the roofers just patch the areas. You can keep calling the management office for repairs, and they will promptly make the repairs. The female manager was nice and friendly; the maintenance man lived on-site and was very friendly and did a decent job.

Don't overload (or completely fill, for that matter) the washers with clothes, or they won't get clean.

It's difficult to move in and out, because there's a ledge at the entryway, just past the front door. You will have to lift your sofa and other large items over it to get them in, because the entryway is too narrow. Other residents stated they had to repair and paint the damage they caused while moving in.

They do work with you if you haven't established credit yet.

Overall, a good experience.
