River Retreat I has had and still has people who are actually obvious about dealing drugs. Nothing is ever done about the drug problem! The trash used to be dumped twice a week and now maybe every two weeks and when its hot outside you can smell the overflowing trash. It is just stupid to run a apartment complex this way. There is a posted speed limit sigh of 10 m.p.h. which is never obeyed or never enforced I mean you can literally get ran over just going to the mailbox! The entrance and exit to the apartment is very dangerous due to all of the trees, plants and banners River Retreat I has placed there in hopes of attracting new renters....please just go the other way! The floors are very not stable you can hear and feel the floorboards creaking and moving as you walk. If someone around you is doing anything to the floor you can hear it and feel it through your floor. Although there are alot of children here there is no playground for them to play so they are left risking getting hit my speeding tenants. The parking lot has so many potholes and cracks that you might as well through in a monthly alighnment for your automobiles as a needed expense. The windows there get mold all around them and you see that other apartment windows need to be replaced. The cabinets are okay if you like pressboard under them that if you get a leak of course the pressboard will warp and become molded. The office staff has changed so many times particullarly the maintenance that it is sad and when you ask the maintenence men why they were leaving they said "The owners do not want to fix anything properly and to cut corners on fixing things." The office staff have there favorite tenents no matter how many people complain about them being loud they say they can't do anything about it. he apartments are hot in the summer and cold in the winter very poor insulation and with over $150 light bill each month I could use that for something else......Please. I could write a book on everything that is wrong here so please safe yourself the trouble and the stress of living here....DO NOT MOVE TO RIVER RETREAT I!
