Upon moving in, a checklist was reviewed and filled out for existing problems. 11 months after signing the lease, they finally tried to fix a few of them. They only fixed them because the roof started leaking and the complaining about all of the issues with the apartment (ie:no screen on windows, boards rotten under cabinets, floor unlevel, no key received for balcony door, dryer does not vent, door knobs backward, dishwasher not attached to counter top)persuaded them to do something before the lease was broke. On the day the roof leaked, we called the emergency repair phone # at 6:30 am, at 8 am when the office opened we went in person to talk to them because no one ever returned our call. The leak is in our kitchen, coming thru the light fixture, therefore we are without light in the kitchen. They did offer valuable advice, " do not use the light until the leak is fixed." Overall, the experience at this complex was unacceptable. The apartment complex is ran by Parthenon properties. After contacting them they offered a gift card for our inconvenience. Meanwhile, things are still not corrected. Select carefully and certainly do not choose River REtreat II.
