Okay...I should have known something was a miss when it took the office over three days to call me to inform me that everything was approved...wait, I called them.
The apartment they showed me was the apartment I moved into, clean, neat and spacious. It was trickery. Upon moving in and getting a closer look, the exterior was deteriorated, there was a ton of clutter. Ohmygoodness, do not drive HOME for lunch for a nap, loud music and Indy 500 driving will prevent this (from 1PM until 230PM on a Wednesday, 16 cars passed with very audible music).
Another thing, I would not get into the pool if you PAID me. The one nearest me is dirty. The security gate is stuck on UP, I hope it never gives way. I know 3 tenants that have been burglarized...they are the only three that I know. And large groups of intimidating young men walk around at all hours of the night...gang'
Generally, these occurrances are indicative of the area. Hickory Hill used to be a prime location in the Memphis area. However, for whatever reason, it has become very scary, crime-filled, and overall Ghetto like. I would not recommend this place, especially to those of you who have children.

I basically like the size of the apartments but the walls are soooo thin and u can hear alot of things going on in other people's apartment. My problems have been with neighbor's loud music. People just dont take into account that we are sharing the same space and that people work different hours so turn the damn music and tv down. There needs to be more parking space and the security should be bumped up. A friend of mine had his car windows bursted out by and ex girlfriend on Jan 2 of 2006 because security was searching the remaining portion of the complex so more security is needed. Also by the walls being paper thin u can push a regular nail through the wall with a few taps of something heavy...u dont need a hammer. Also I dont like when I call the front office and the phone rings off the hook and then I walk around to the office in less than 5 mins of calling and they are sitting there chatting. That pisses me off!
