1- I have been living in apoartment communities for over 10 years and have never encountered such violent and aggravating residents who bring their ill-mannered friends into the community as well. I was physically threatened by a residents friend this week in front of my daughter ( who has disabilities may I add). He was cursing and threatening to cause harm to me.
When I moved into ym new aparmtne I had a lot of problems. They hadn't finished painting. They gave me the keys without anyone checking to make sure the apartment was ready. I had no shower doors on my shower. The carpet wasn't new. It is matted , it stnks, and it has large occasional red stains as if someone spilled koolaid on the floor. The blinds were corroded and old and broken. In the bathroom under the sink it was so gross and deteriorating there was an upside down volcano. I promise. I have pictures. So they gave me shower doors, I have to deal with the old stink matted and stained carpet, I have new blinds, they covered the manhols in my bathroom that was hiding under the sink, and they had to put in a new air conditioner becuse mine broke within the first 3 weeks of me moving in. I got the place because the rent was cheap and I couldn't afford muchg more at the time. I don't plan on staying there any longer than I have to. I have a security system on my car and people's stereo systems are SO loud that they turn on my larm on my car all teh time. I have to sleep on the couch due to the noise level outside my window. I work at night, so sleeping during the day is a have to thing. I now fear for my safety, fear that someone is going to drive by and do damage to my car just because, and I'm overall disappointed in what I was given. I try to be grateful for what I ahve, but I got crapped on with this place. Management did NOT do what they were suppose to, and when they are faced with the proble,m they lame others instead of just apologizing and fixing the problem. You have to go to the office to get a hold of someone. They refuse to answer the phone. Why don't these people care more for their tenants'''
