I Hope You Never Have to Talk to Trivonda

When I first moved here January of this year, I was excited. I was getting one of the best rental rates in the city for a three bedroom home. The layout is large and this was a place I could call home until I was able to purchase one of my own. Tim, who is one of the office workers, was great! He is a gentleman and he truly took care of me. He was polite and during the walkthrough, he took visual notes of things that needed to be fixed or tightened up and it was done quickly. However, I had the wonderful opportunity of having my home broken into. The circumstances surrounding it are still sketchy, and I am not going to disclose specifics here at this moment because this is still an ongoing investigation. What I have an issue with is that there are FIVE maintenance men who obviously have little to no need to document their actions or visits. This is a problem because when I needed more information about my break in, Trivonda basically said there is no way for them to know if a unit is occupied or not. This is how my window got boarded up and I wasn't notified...but I digress.
Trivonda is rude, smug, unprofessional and outright insensitive. First of all, I wasn't allowed to bring anyone in to her office with me. I felt that was crazy, but now I see why. I guess she doesn't want witnesses to her disrespect. I told her about my break in and she didn't offer any apologies, help, rent discounts or anything. The whole time I was there, she talked to me as if she could care less about my situation. I felt as if she should have taken more concern in my situation, especially since this is HER property she's in charge of managing. Honestly, Trivonda makes you feel as if you are interrupting her.
In the end, I love my space, and I love the convenience. I understand that crime is all over the country, and I won't let it deter me from living where I so desire. What bothers me is that Trivonda is a shoddy manager. If she was really about her business, she would make 6111 look like a place you would want to live. She would spend the money to fix things and add real security. Her excuse of "it's a large complex" doesn't work for me. She knew what the job entailed when she got it, so I suggest she get on it. Aside from her, I give the place 4 out of 5 stars. It's a good place for the money, but it needs some work...
...and a new manager.

Indeed. I tried my hardest to maintain a level head with her because I knew my emotions were high. However, even as calm as I was, she wasn't professional. I don't feel as if she cared about my situation. Had she shown any kind of concern, I would have documented so on here.
