When I was about to rent this place, I did not get good reviews about it, like having insects and bad behaving management or poor service maintenance,... But, when I moved I realized that most of the things were untrue. If people take care of cleaning of their apartments themselves, it would be most unlikely to confront with insects (this is my experience). The building is old but the manger is taking good care of the place and she is very nice and helpful lady. The maintenance people are polite and helpful too.
The weak points about the place are: sometimes there are unpleasant smell in the corridors or you may confront with noisy neighbors, but most of the times asking the manager to give them notice, works well. Over all, worthiness of the price, good services, close to downtown and hospitals and UT, are the best points of this buildings.

Living in a community, any body may have two kinds of judgment; one individual feelings maybe raised from personal experiences and the other is related to his and his community expectations and what they get out of the common environment. I do not deny the fact that if other people's comments and suggestions were not existed, everything would be the same as it is now,but am saying that at this present time, there is not a serious issue to prevent people to come to this community existing. Bugs problem is a common thing which is not "totally" inevitable, but is considerably preventable,as I said. This should not be taken as offend to anybody.

I left a review full of complaints about this complex a few years ago and it's not fair for you to say that the other reviews on here are untrue. Have you ever thought that there were so many complaints that there were changes made to make this place a more pleasant place to live? I lived there for six years and the complex didn't start getting out of hand until the management company was dropped and the owner tried to run the place herself. There was one manager named Kelly that leased to me in 2000 and she was the reason I stayed for 6 years. When Kelly left things went downhill. Now the bug problem was really bad and so were the offensive smells. But don't assume that the people that complained about bugs are nasty people. If other people in the building are nasty then even clean people get bugs to, especially in a high rise where all units are connected to one another. The only part of your review that I have a problem with is you state that the negative complaints on this complex are untrue. If you were not there to witness what happened then itÂ?s best not to make comments if you can't back it up. I was always told if you here the same things from two or more people that you can bet its some truth to it. And there are so many negative complaints on this site; I just donÂ?t believe everybody is lying. I am not saying you didnÂ?t have a good experience there, if I didnÂ?t I wouldnÂ?t have stayed so long, my good experienced turned sour maybe within the last year to year and a half that I was there.

No you could have roaches in your place to. The reason why you don't see them is most likely you go to bed early or you have one of the lucky rooms where roaches don't swarm. There are several roaches in the apartment and they are really resistant. If an apartment has a roach problem they have a roach problem. Cleaning helps but you still see them and sometimes A LOT of them. The only real benefit of this place is that it is close to downtown.
