For those who like to smoke crack and stay up until 2 or 3am, and for those whole like to urinate in the pool and live with crack heads, this is the place for you... seriously man...
I moved here a year ago because I did not know better (I am not from Memphis). We cannot sleep with all the fights going on next door and when summer comes by, it gets worse, the swimming pool stays open until very very late at nigh 12:30am or even later, crack heads screams and throw chairs and tables in the water, and if you think about taking your family for a swim, just don't.
The staff in the office are nice (very nice) but the place is a disaster. I am moving out and I will be paying a whole lot more just to have a good school district and better people around me. I would upload some pictures for you but I don't have them with me at the moment

I stay in the Abrors and have for the past three years. I have not experienced these conditions. I really think it matters where your apartment is located. I live in a building that is located in the front by the office. It is relatively quiet. I think that you will find in a lot of places that you live in Memphis that a lot of crime and action occur in the middle or back of a large apartment complex you just must be careful and specific when you first decide to live anywhere about what exactly you are looking for and what type of community the apartment is located in.

I agree with you but I think you are not telling the truth to people. Just after I posted my first comment, one resident got killed in an attempt of rubbery in front of his wife when coming back from grocery store and another notice was on my door about yet another robbery and assult in the complex. Where were you when all this happened. Please be honest with people. I invite everyone to look at the police records for Arbors and see for yourselves.

I am sorry for your loss. Just last week, we heard gunshots again but thank God no one was hurt this time. I am agaist guns but I went an purchsed one to protect my family. I have never thought in my life that I will live like this. Memphis in general is crazy and we all know why, but living among and within these people is just a dangerous thing to do. I cannot wait for my lease to expire and I will pay as much more as I can to stay away from place and areas like this one.

What were the gunshots about, do you know? A gun is a big responsibility and please secure it if you have small children around. If my brother had not waited for his lease to expire he would be alive today. Maybe need to go to the mgt. and say considering the murder and crime in the area you want to move and they may let you out of your lease cause it would be on them if something happened to you and your family. Seriously, think about what I am saying. Always be alert and walk with your head up, watch behind you. They acted like they were going to just keep walking past his car and then they came back after I guess they decided to attack him. Don't assume anyone you have seen before is safe since they didn't do anything before.
