My sister and I went to move into the apt. when she was 9 months pregnant and we were in a rush to move. We asked the people in the leasing office how crime was and told them that this was very important to us to live somewhere reasonably safe and they said not any worse than anywhere else in mempphis, YEA RIGHT! The first week we got a bullet through the bedroom wall where my sister slept with her child, thank God they were okay! They told her she had to sleep with a hole in her wall until after the weekend so they did'nt have to call a contractor until we finally convinced them that was crazy. While we were moving in another young girl got robbed at gun point while trying to move in. Then we learned shortly before we moved some man was shot to death there, and yesterday (about 4 weeks into lease) I saw some innocent man was robbed and murdered bringing his groceries into his apt!! I'm scared to even go home!!! They said that we could break our lease which is good, but now schools starting, baby's here and sisters outta work for 3 months, and already spent so much money moving there I don't know where we'll get the cash to move again so fast. I know they want to make they're money and commissions but they completely lied to us. I've lived in different apts. in memphis for last 5 yrs. and this is the worst by far and most unsafe I've ever felt. I believe they should've been more honest and not put 2 young girls and a newborn child in a situation like that. I bet they would'nt tell they're family to move there. We feel really taken advantage of and hurt. Does anyone here care about people'

Hey, sorry to hear about this but doesn't suprise me at all. All they care about is the dollar. As I said in my post, my relative was the one murdered unloading his groceries. They have done nothing to help secure the place against criminals or increase safety. That tells you right there that they care more about saving money than the people that live there. But don't hesitate to get out cause it is not worth your life. Don't have regrets about them cause of money like my relative waiting on his lease to move. Now he is gone and no amount of money will bring him back.
