Apartments are in a good location, yet the incredibly rude and arrogant staff make living here miserable. We will absolutely never live in a Gables community again due to our experience with the Arbors Harbor Town management.

My 53 year old mother who was visiting me for 2 days from a furlow from doing aid work in Afghanistan (in other words she is not wild, loud, or bothersome) was told to leave the pool area as I was not there accompanying her. I understand apartments do have rules that are neccesary to keep order and decorum. Management at the Arbors chooses to enforce these with an iron hand without using any common sense however.


Other complaints:

The air conditioners will barely cool the apartments. When we requested service, we were told that the AC's are only meant to cool the units to 15 degrees below outside temperature. This is fine if you are comfortable walking in from a 100 degree july day to a cool 85 degree apartment.

Out of control stray and residents cat population who constantly jump on and scratch cars.

I don't under stand this complaint, so let me get this straight. You are complaining about the Arbors enforcing the rules, that they inform you of when you move-in? I have lived here for four years and am sad to be leaving. But it really makes me laugh when I hear people complain about having to obey rules. If the rules are changed for one person then they will have to be changed for everyone, then I can only imagine the compalints. Really its crazy!
