I am moving ASAP. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I have been here too long. After 2 months of living here, a guy in the apartment adjacent to my building was shot. A few months later my apartment was broken into. Then when I tried to get my insurance info together it turned out that no one even knew I was paying insurance with my rent with the company they recommend (what a mistake). Now, over a year later, it's me or the roaches. The roaches can have this place. I have neighbors upstairs that feel like the stairs are their trash cans. Maintenence may or may not clean it up. There are drug addicts (a bonafide crackhead) that roams around. Young thugs that hang around when they should be in school. No, the people in the leasing office do not care and will act if you are getting on their nerves if you call to complain about anything. If you absolutely can't afford anything else, go for it. Word to the wise, live on the side with the leasing office. It's slightly more secure.
