It's a toss up between a shelter or Bartlett Heights Apts.!

If you like sharing your space with small, medium and large roaches, having your dryer blow hot air into the house (b/c there's not outside vent!), very poor A/C, furry-four-legged critters in the attic eating through cords and coils, and a leasing agent who is impossible... then this is the place for you! Welcome home!
Oh yeah, and don't even think about asking for a screen for a window b/c there's no chance in hell that your going to get one.

I personally would not ever recommend this place to anyone. Seriously. Unless you have to decide between the streets and this place - I'd steer clear.

Only two good things about Bartlett Heights: 1) It's in the Shelby County School District, but that really doesn't come close to evening out the day-in day-out issues. 2) The Maintenance guys are very friendly and get the job done!

Seriously - heed to the warnings!

Thank God I read all the reviews. They all agree with you. I was going to reccomend that my son, who has a young wife and baby, check these out and consider moving there. He's out of town a lot and the rest of our family lives in Bartlett or Cordova. Whew!!!

I'm glad you saw this post as well. The only reason we moved there was because I wanted my son to go to Shelby CO schools. I would suggest they look on Craigslist or through real estate agents/magazine guids, etc. to find a home to rent. They might have to search hard, but there are some good deals out there. Best wishes!
