I have lived at Blair Towers for years and granted I have seen some problems over the years, but no more than other places I have lived. The management is friendly which certainly helps when problems do arise, but all of these other people ranting about roaches and utilities must be closed off from the rest of the world. GET A LIFE PEOPLE! If you would quit living in filth maybe we wouldn't see any roaches. As far as the utilities go, I own a rental home with much higher utilities. Blair Towers does not control utility costs, the city does. Some people really are just miserable people. Believe me, things can always get worse especially if you live your life griping about everything. Good luck!

you mut be a republican, cause if blair towers leave extra lights on or energy use guess how they make up for it? through you. so maybe if you can afford a rental home you sure can afford lights, well other can not pay $150 light bill for a 700 sq ft apartment. I have not seen any roaches, but management does suck. They are rude and need to take a class on customer service. The ------- american young lady that works there is pertty cool, she is a big help. My car was broken into and the manager did not care she said what can she do about it, which the answer is nothing, but she could have been a little more understnding that that. So you get a life and stop worrying what is going on in other peoples homes rich.........

I worked at a highrise similar to Blair. Highrises are not Garden Apts. Heat and cold air circulate slowly through these places, and no property manager in their right mind will switch them on & off daily with the climate we often have in Memphis, without waiting 4 or 5 days to see if the seasons are here to stay. Otherwise, people would be uncomfortable for days on end until the weather synched with the machinery. These are the questions you should have asked at the showing, not "Which one has the nicest view?" The original poster is right. Too many people try to baste management about things for which they should not expect to be responsible. If you don't clean your apartment everyday, you get bugs. Too busy to clean? Move to a dive motel. Don't leave CDs, cameras, cell phones, etc on the seat of your car and you're not going to have it broken into. I guess common sense left with personal accountability. If you catch up to them, say "Hi, it's me. HELP!"
