Not worth it... AT ALL

While the location is nice for any medical professional students attending school in downtown... the apartments just arent worth the convenience. The apartment manager controls the heat and air... so she paid $1800 for the people to come turn the heat on.. she had hundreds of complaints from residents and all she would say to any of us was "Sorry, I already paid them to cut the heat off"
Parking is VERY limited... and all the apartment managers have to say about it is "Park on the street but move your car by 7 AM, because Police will ticket you" We know two residents who had their car broken into in a one month period. The management didnt care at all. They towed on of our cars even though we had a parking permit.. and they simply said "Sorry, these things just happen. Just go down to pay the fine and they'll give it back" The blonde woman is the most uncaring of all.. the redhead is just always rushing around and doesnt want to take the time out for anyone.
The second day we moved in, we found roaches and spiders everywhere. There was a leak somewhere, so the maintance staff tore a big hole in our wall and didnt come to cover it and paint it for weeks. Absolutely ridiculous..and embaressing!
The appliances are outdated and horrendous to use. It took 10 minutes to get a small pot of water boiling..

Thank you. I was thinking about renting here. I don't understand about the manager controlling the heat and air. How can they just shut it off? It's almost impossible to get an office full of people to agree on a temperature setting, let alone an entire building!

ABSOLUTELY do not fall for their line of "you control heating and air" I know, it's ridiculous. And with the new management team here, things have only gotten worse. The 9th floor flooded because the management is too cheap and bought plastic clasps instead of metal ones for the hot water pipes... as a result, the clasps melted and the pipes burst. In fact, it happened twice in one month.
