I have been a resident of the Bristol for a few months now and I think it would be appropriate to add a more recent review into the mix. Most people that bother to post reviews do so because they were not satisfied. I, however, am VERY satisfied with my choice to live at the Bristol. There has been a change in managament that I knew nothing about. It would have been nice to have been notified of the change of staff but that is not a crucial element to my satisfaction as a resident. I could not care less about the personality of staff as long as they take care of my needs as a resident. So far, the few issues that I have had were taken care of almost immediately. My unit faces the Union side and the sirens are frequent and loud. It took me a few weeks to adjust but I have gotten so used to it that I barely notice it anymore. My unit is beautiful. The price is a little high for me but well worth it and is very competitively priced for the area and the beautiful amenities that the apartment has to offer. I am very pleased and would hope that anyone considering making a move to this area would look at the apartment as a whole as opposed to ridiculous reviews. Form your own opinions.

Since you're so happy where you stay, I have to ask which floor you're on? I'm on 3 and the girl upstairs is ridiculously noisy. I know they have hardwood floors on the 4th floor. But she stomps when she walks and slams everything in her apartment. I know carpet cushions some sound. And having furniture. I'm trying to transfer to either the 2nd or 1st when a unit in available. Honestly, it's driving me insane! I've been in apartments under people before so I know there will be some noise. But this is excessive. I'm sick of playing music to drown out the sound. I specifically remember asking the leasing officer about the noise on this floor and she wasn't honest with me. She was just trying to rush me into the unit. She did say I don't have to wait the six months to transfer though, which is great. If you're on 1 or 2 do you have to deal with as much stomping and slamming?

i am actually on the 4th floor so I do not have to deal with that noise factor. I do apologize for that because having the hardwood floors does make it difficuly to be as considerate as a neighbor as one would like to be.
