I have been on every apartment rating site and it appears every apartment building have issues. I am sooo confused. Please respond and let me know where is the best place to live in Midtown or Downtown.

I'm responding so quick because I sense and know your frustration. I thought paying more money meant it would be better at the Bristol. Man, was I wrong! The biggest problems always seem to be management. Also, Memphis has a lot of ghetto people. If the apartments didn't accept section 8 then most of them would be half empty. That's always a concern of mine since I don't like living around lazy freeloaders. I live in Uptown Square now. It wouldn't suck so bad if I wasn't constantly doing battle with cockroaches.(dirty little secret they try to hide. Who would knowingly move into a place that had cockroaches?!) I have a phobia of cockroaches and the grounds are infested with them. And they come out big time at night. Would not have moved here if I had known this. I do get a decent amount of space and a washer/dryer for the money though. South Bluff has some pretty good ratings. I looked at those but I didn't care for the design. I think they had some ugly gray carpet. I prefer Midtown over Downtown. But Midtown has old apartments and Downtown is overrated, dirty, and hostile bums roam the area. Are these the only two options you have?? You may have to trek out east to find something.

just dont live at bristol on union.. very bad management. i made that terrible mistake and i dont want you to do the same.
