I've been here for about six months now. I've read all the 2005 reveiws and I'm kind of surprised at many of the complaints. I've never had a problem with the staff, parking is plentiful, the pool is open all summer as far as I can recall (it's right next to the tennis court which I use all the time so you can take my word on it), the tennis court is in perfect condition, the air and heat work great, and the neighbors in my area are quiet and respectful. Seriously, w/ respect to the air, I like it cold in house in the summertime and I had no problem keeping it at 68F during the worst of the summer heat. (my MLGW bill was only about $120.00 monthly) It is now late November and the heat works great (currenly my MLGW bill is only about $77.00 monthly).

I picked these apartments based on the location. What is currently known as East Memphis is actually right smack in the middle of the city and allows convenient access to just about anywhere in Memphis. There are so many great restaraunts and shopping areas, there is a Target store only five min(s) from here. (sorry, no Wal-Mart or Super K-mart) I do wish there was a Best Buy nearby but in general I have no trouble finding anything I need including great movie theatres, grocery stores, and there are fitness centers out the ying-yang. I play tennis and there are three major tennis centers within ten min(s) drive from here.

Overall, I think this place is great and I would recommend it to a friend or anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable place to stay in East Memphis.
