I have lived at these apartments since March 2006. I first stayed in a downstairs 1bd/1bath then an upstairs 2bd/2bath and now a downstairs 2bd/2bath. I have never really had any issues with the office staff. I always go directly to the assistant manager, TaQuisha, and she has always been very helpful. Maintenance has also never really been a major problem. They usually come very soon after you call, sometimes they dont fix the problem right away, but at least they come!
In the 2 downstairs apartments that I have lived, you are able to hear alot coming from those above you but I'm too lazy to move into an upstairs apartment again. We have had issues with bugs but they do spray every Thursday if you request it. The best thing is to get your own spray. We did have water issues from upstairs that caused brown spots on our ceilings that havent been fixed yet. The carpet also stains very easily and the appliances arent exactly the newest either.
We havent been fans of the '1 covered spot per apartment' thing since my wife and I both have cars, like any other normal couple. So sometimes one person may have to walk a little ways to get to your apartment. There have also been issues with the pool and other 'non-residents' vandalizing and abusing that and the fitness room. We personally havent had any security concerns. We both feel safe and there are security guards around the clock.
We will be moving out soon only because we found a special on a newer complex that fits into our price range. While looking around however, we were not able to find any other apartments in the city of Memphis with the same size large living room and that will be missed.
For the money, these apartments are a great deal. They run good specials and also have referral fees that are often a nice $300 discount on your rent.

U should b so lucky, to move out. I will be glad when my lease is up so I can move too into a house. Also the assistant manager is the main problem, she stole my rent money and tried to make me pay her twice til I threaten her with a lawyer. I haven't had a problem with bugs, but i have with spiders.
