It's okay...

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006
This was our first apartment (my husband and I), so when they offered half off the first 4 months we decided it was worth it. And for the price, yeah it was okay. The staff is friendly, and considerate. We had a leak in the kitchen that I'm still not positive they fixed, but it's not leaking anymore, so they might of. We would occasionally get a random bug in our apartment (2nd floor) but nothing serious (though I heard the back of the complex has bug problems).
The kitchen cabinets are falling apart, and just look gross in general. The water acts funny, it changes from high to low pressure alot and from hot to cold in the shower (very annoying). None of the windows have screens and one of our windows had a hole along the outside of the frame letting outside air in.
The parking can be annoying if your apartment is on the inside part (the parking lot makes a big U shape around most of the buildings), and my car was broken into and my stereo stolen, I reported it, but there wasn't anything they could do (but they at least sounded like they cared, for what it's worth).
Half the lights outside are out and people like to loiter in the parking lot. There are no drains, so water puddles up everywhere when it rains. The dumpsters don't seem to get emptied enough and are always overflowing with trash. In general it's not someplace I'd want to raise a kid, but for first timers, if they give you a good deal, it's worth staying there for 6-7 months. (But now that our lease is up, I'm so ready to find a better place!)
