Living in Cedar Mill Apartments was the worst experience of my life! My roommate and I ended up buying out the lease because everything about this apartment community was horrible, especially the staff. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. They often just made up policies and procedures at their convenience. The property manager and all of the office employess, except for one, had terrible attitudes. We were lied to and deceived about several things before moving in. Upon our move-in, the apartment was infested with roaches. There were huge water bugs all over the property. The apartment was NOT clean. There were dead roaches and roach feces all over the place. Several things did NOT work, such as some of the electrical outlets and the hot water in the bathroom. The staff couldn't care less. They took extremely long to come take care of the problems and never fixed some of them. I didn't have hot water in my bathroom for the 1st week and a half. Then after it was fixed, I had a huge hole in the wall for another week. We were hot ALL summer because they refused to send a professional in to fix the cold air, so it just blew warm. I konw apartments don't necessarily have "the best" quality of water, but theirs was ridiculous. Half of the time, it was brown and reaked of sewage. Plumbing was a nightmare. I felt very unsafe. There were apartment and car break-ins all the time and the security wasn't worth crap. They made up all kinds of reasons not to return the deposit, but I couldn't care less. I was just glad to be getting away from the place. This is only half of the story. I could go on forever. I've lived in a few other apartment communities and this was, by far, the worst. This was a terrible experience and I wouldn't advise anyone to move here!
