I moved to central station less than 6 months ago. The manager here is not professional at all. My heat was broke most of the winter. I called during the weekend because I was freezing and they didn't come out till later in the next week. The manager damaged my furniture by slamming my front door into my Flat Screen TV Stand because I called her out on the condition of my apartment upon move in. She told me that she did not know who had been in the apartment prior to my move in. IT was FILTY. The chemical was not wiped out of the stove. It took me weeks to clean up the place. The Toilet was Used and not flused. It made me sick to have to clean it. The rags had to be thrown out. The paint job was and I quote from her " A BOTCH JOB" She said she fired the painters but would not repaint my apartment. It took 4 months of calling, emailing and finally calling her boss to get something done. Then I had to argue with them to correct some of the problems that should have been fixed prior to moving in. They fixed the Carpet issue but I had to keep moving furniture several times. Her Vendors left a huge mess everytime they were in my apt. Her maint staff shoved a ladder into my $2000 new sofa and the supervisor said that he would not replace my TV stand that the manager slammed the door into because she was mad. They told me in my apartment when we met to discuss how I was treated that I could move out if I didn't like it here. Her maint.staff would walk into my apartment without knocking with their master key and would not ask if you were home nor would they call, and once I was naked getting out of the shower and walked out to them in my apartment. This company does not care about their tenants. They are unprofessional and very RUDE. There is no air or heat in the lobby or the hallways so they say. They never turn on the air in the ELEVATOR. This place is always filthy theIt laundry room is never cleaned. The garage has concrete that falls onto your vehicle. I had to fight with them to get a new parking space as well as other tenants. I have a disability and asked if I could park in one of the two HANDICAPPED PARKING and the manager told me that I could NOT because her maint staff and vendors use those handicap parking when they are on the property. This Complex is a big JOKE. If you move here you will be sorry you did. Everyone here has problems with the management and the company that runs central station. It is a shame that Central Station Apartments is so poorly managed and run. There are several lights out front that shine on the building that are in the sidewalk and only one has worked since I have lived here. This building is the AMTRAK Station as well. If you come and visit you will see the office and what a MESS and DISORGANIZED this office is and you will know then how it is run. If they had a manager that really cared this would be a great building. And I would have stayed because I loved my apartment and the view was great. As much as it pains me to move after buying furniture that fits perfectly with the layout I cannot stand another day here.
