Years at this apartment:

I lived in this commuity for only a year and my experience was a pleasant one. At first, it was ok. The grounds were kept neat and it was somewhat quiet. Until maybe a month later after moving in things drastically changed. The apartments next door "The Autimnwood" are like projects. Kids were climbing the fence almost everyday. The nightlife in the very back was like something out of south central. Guys hanging out, driking beer, smoking weed, using profanity. This was not the environment I wanted my son exposed too. My girlfriend right beneath me was robbed at gun point as she was leaving her apartment one morning to go to work. The robber forced her back in the apartment, tied her up and took everything of value. To make matters worse, he sexually assaulted her. Can't saymucha bout the staff, because they changed apartment managers three times while I lived there. The second manager was concerned at all. My son was assaulted when he got off the bus by some kid that lived next door in the Autumnwood. Again, the office wasnt proactive what's so ever in resolving any issues or complaints that occured. The entire area of Hickory Hill or should I say "Hickory Hood" has gone down as a whole. So many car break-ins, robberies at the Ellington and surroungding area. There's no way I would suggest anyone to move here. If you're relocating here from out of town, do not move here or any apartments in Hickory hill or southeast Memphis. Look at areas outside of Memphis, PLEASE! for your own good!!!
