Ellington at Kirby

It's Getting Worse From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/18/2008 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008 1 response   I live at the Ellington now. We moved in 3 years ago and we looovvedd the apt and the community then. But now the Ellington is going downhill and fast. I thint hey are accepting section 8 vouchers or something. All kinds of ghtto trash is walking around the complex. We hear people arguing int he middle of the night and all the loud music playing at all times fo the morning is ridiculous. I hear my neighbors alarm clock every morning through the paper thin walls. The only thing we love about these apartments now is the maintenance man Bill. He is great and a joy to have a round. When he comes to work on things my toddler loves to run around him and ask him questions about what he is doing and he always takes time out to talk to him and tell him and explain how things work. We miss Miss Carol she was old and sort of senile but she is a lot more personable than Regina. She seems like she has an attitude every time we come in the office. She'll talk though. She just looks really mean. I guess she is not a people person. Not saying she is flat out rude or anything. The garbarge can is always overflooding. Ppl just thjrow their trash all out in front of the door to the little garbage area. You can't even get in. Someone has been drawing all on the sidewalk and kids play by our door all day running up and down the stairs so we can't even get down them. Every morning when we wake up there are shoes right in front of the door. Ugh it's just not worth it . Someone egged my husbands car !! There are strange men hanging out in front of the apartments somoking marijuana and who knows what else. If u want more bang for ur buck don't even try to come to the Hickory hill Area at all. As soon as our Lease is up we're leaving.
