I am a former employee of Echelon at the Ballpark and this website has gotten way out of control. It has become a site where residents post just because someone has made them mad in the office. When we first found out about this site, we thought it seemed pretty funny that poeple would have enough time on their hands to actually go these type of places to write just beacuse they are angry, but this has gotten way out of control. Echelon's reputation is being ruined because of crazy people. First of all I am no longer with the property so I have nothing to lose or gain by saying any of this. Every single posting on this website is from residents that can't afford to pay the their rent and someone has made them mad by making them pay their rent and pay it on time. Why should Echelon suffer because you people try to live way beyond your means' I could put a name with every single posting and tell you why they posted. No one likes it when someone doesn't tell them the answers they want to hear, but why blame someone else for your mistake. I am not trying to say that Echelon is the perfect place to live, but GIVE ME A BREAK PEOPLE!!!! You are living downtown in an apartment building. If you can't afford to live there, don't blame the management for making you pay your rent. If you want to talk about whiny and unhappy people you might want to look at yourself! Don't blame management because you can't hold up your end of the leasing agreement. You read it, you signed it and you should know what that means. It clearly states in the lease that you have to pay your rent, you have to pay late charges if you don't, no security is guaranteed and if you break the lease you have to pay. It is all there in BLACK AND WHITE. If Echelon has not followed through with something everyone sure tells them about it, so maybe fingers should start pointing at these unhappy residents instead of management. The people mentioned in some of these postings are dear friends and they are great people. Echelon is an outstanding property and for every unhappy resident, I could name 5 happy ones, but the happy residents never come on an post. Wonder why''' Because they are happy and have better things to do than waste your time. Ever noticed that they never put their names on these postings' Wonder why''' Are you embarressed'

Echelon is a wonderful place to live. You get the full experience of downtown living. It has a perfect location and it is a beautiful property. Don't get me wrong about the residents, they do have some wonderful people living there, but there is always a bad egg in every group. I just hope that these postings have not changed your opinion of Echelon. Please check it out. Call the office, check out the website or go for a visit.
