We have only lived at The Echelon for a few months but quickly decided it was not for us. We moved from out of state and had been driving for an excess of 6 hours to reach Tennessee before 5pm. When we called the office at 4:45 on Friday to let them know that we were coming, the reply was to remember that they closed at 5:30. This was our first impression. Since we arrived at the office around 5:15 we were rushed through our lease and found out that some of the prices were incorrect.(they were soon corrected) After signing the lease we were simply told "your apartment is over there". Now keep in mind that we had never seen the apartment or any of the area since we did everything online. We definatley felt like a bother to them instead of valuable residents. We also quickly learned atht the amenties that they provide seem to be more for their benefit and the younger 20 something residents. The coffee bar that is listed is only open after the office opens which I believe is 9:30 most of the working residents are up and on there way well before then. The Saturday breakfast bar is only open after 10 and good luck finding anything worthwhile or enough of it.
The ladies, and I use that term loosley, need to learn a thing or two about customer service. There are 3 very nice ladies in the office and one that always acts as if she is doing you a favor by answering any questions or even checking for a package for you. If you see her on the elevator she will not speak or even make eye contact with you. They speak highly of the secure access to the buildings however the door to one of the buildings can be opened simply by lifting up on the handle. If you recieve any packages they are supposed to be left in the office however we have had Fed Ex leave a package of checks in front of our door in the hallway, twice. The responce from the office, "That's not supposed to happen". Our apartment was dirty when we moved in. Never have I come across the unfriendly attitudes, overpromised and, undelivered such as the Elchelon provides. Please reconsider before signing here. Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7
