I believe the staff are writing the good reviews.

I believe the maintenance staff are good guys and the 2 girls working in front office are good people, after that there is a steep decline in goodness concerning the staff. The management should stroll through the place more often. The phone books in the lobby are getting ridiculous, the trash can in the lobby of S. Fourth stays full, I personally cleaned chewing gum off one of the columns upstairs after waiting 2 weeks for housekeeping to take of it.We had stains in our carpet that we easily removed with over the counter carpet cleaner, dosen't seem as though the cleaners made it to our apartment before we moved in.

Part of the reason there are so many maintenance issues is due to the company that took over. Heritage Properties who now runs Fielder Square does not pay it's bills. Most of the vendors have cut off service to this place and the word is out localy. They have not paid any of their vendors since February. The company brass blames it all on the owners. They claim the owners will not give them a deposit to pay their bills but yet they had the work done anyway knowing they did not have the money. I would cut the office staff a break given that they are being forced to constantly try and find new vendors who don't know how bad the company pays it's bills. Sad thing is that in the Commercial Appeal Fred Smith was listed as one of the owners. I have never known him to be involved in anything so negative as not paying bills?

Guess what, nothing has changed. I moved in August 4th and my apartment was absolutely filthy. I had to clean it myself so I could unpack everything. I called the manager, it took my 3 days to finally reach her, and then she relayed a message from her manager that they could not reimburse me the cleaning fee because they had already paid someone to clean the apartment. She even admitted that they had had complaints about the vendor they used to clean the apartments in the past. They did offer to clean the carpets for me. I got there while the guy was cleaning. He had a little spray bottle and a cloth, spraying the spots in the entry way. He said the dirt in the carpet would desolve in a couple of days. Needless to say, it looks exactly the same as when I moved in. Rent somewhere else!!!!!
