Before you rent here do your research. Their current apartmentrating.com is 37%, comparable apts. are 64% and 75%, there is a reason it is so low.
I have been a model tenant for 3 years. I have paid my rent on time every month. I've never had any complants. I abide by their rules. And in turn what is the thanks' They raise my rent $100 per month. This is on top of my renter's insurance DOUBLING to cover my apt. after their pipes burst and caused over $10k worth of damage to my belongings. And the kicker... if you, a random individual walked in off the streets and tried to rent my apt. you would get a better deal on the apt. than a tenant of 3 yrs. Everywhere from Subway to the local dry cleaners gives a discount to loyal customers. Why wouldn't an apt. complex' This is an obvious display that they do not care about their tenants. They are after the dollar and don't mind screwing you over in the process.
Also look at other comparable apts and do the basic math. You can get a nicer apt. for less. They may offer you some great discount for your first year, but if you are planning on staying for longer then BEWARE! The rent will go up.

One of our goals is to keep the residents that are currently living in this community. Our rating is low, due to the fact that rents are changing. We are bringing rents closer to the market rent, as they should be. Market rents have not changed atleast in the last two years. I can assure you that if your rent only went up by $100, you are still getting a great deal off the market rent. People that walk in off the street are paying the market rents. The people that walk in off the street are not getting $200-$300 off every month of their rent therefore they do not have the worry of their rent going up by $200-$300. Unlike the previous management our move-in special structure is set-up to keep this problem from happening. New residents may get money off the first 1-3 months, but they will eventually pay the market rent. This business is like any other. The car you bought 3 years ago is not the same price today. The cost of living rises, taxes increase, and as the community ages the cost of upkeep increases. I wish people would put this much effort into protesting about gas prices. Maybe then I could still fill up my car for $20. It is unfortunate that people are using this forum to deter future residents. It is also unfortunate that most satisfied residents do not know about this site.

"The car you bought 3 years ago is not the same price today." Not a good example to explain why rent goes up for current tenants. When you have a car for 3 yrs, the payment doesn't change! My ex-boyfriend lived at this apartment complex and atleast 1 -2 times a week someone's car window was shattered in the "visitor parking" |
