I lived here in one of the townhouse apartments for about a year. As with any apartment there are pluses and minuses. Can?t speak for the other apartments but the two bedroom townhouses have bad problems with the heating system(AC works okay). The heat blasts on the third floor-master bedroom, but in the living room-2nd floor it is terrible and is always cold. The fireplace does not help much. There is a wall heater at the door which can alleviate the coldness but must be kept on all the time. Do that, and you watch your electric bill rise.



The bottom level is the garage which is roomy and has good storage. The kitchen was way too small and the closets are tiny. They could have had smaller bathrooms and allowed for more closet space-poor design. While we were there, they began construction on a new phase. If this is still going on, DO NOT GET AN APT NEAR THE REAR. You will hear construction from sunrise to sunset and sometines into the night. That goes for Saturdays too.



Maintenance was generally good and in a timely fashion and the staff was okay. We did not experience any security issues but I know there have been issues in the Hacks Cross/Winchester area--breakins and the like. Construction nullified the purpose of the security gates as access could be gained from the rear of the apartment. This may have lead to problems for some.



The appliances were pretty good. We had to have work done on the telephone lines because previous residents had two lines, one upstairs and one down so we had to get that changed over to one line only. No compensation from the mgt company on that but they did pay for another phone jack in the 2nd bedroom since the only original jacks were in the kitchen and master bedroom.
>Overall the main reason we left was the heating system and the construction noise.The heating may not be an issue in other floor plans. Otherwise it was decent.
