On Dec 14 2006 from the Commercial Appeal newspaper:

Police say they have no suspects yet in the kidnap, robbery and rape of a Southeast Memphis woman early Thursday morning.

She was attacked as she arrived at her apartment at 1:30 a.m. in the 8000 block of Salisbury Place at Fieldstone Apartments on Hacks Cross Road near the entrance to the Tournament Players Club at Southwind.

The man put a gun to her back and forced her to drive to a bank and withdraw an undisclosed amount from an automated teller machine.

Police spokesman Sgt. Vince Higgins said the suspect then made her drive back to her apartment complex and get into a van, where he raped her.

Meanwhile, a second armed suspect entered the victim's apartment, where he confronted a man whom he forced to the floor at gunpoint and continued with the burglary.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION THE PPL THAT COMMITTED THIS CRIME KNEW THE GIRL AND HER BOYFRIEND AND IT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED REGARDLESS OF WHERE SHE LIVED...HER BOYFRIEND HAD GOTTEN HIMSELF INTO SOME TROUBLE AND OWED SOME PPL A LOTTTTT OF MONEY SO SINCE HE DIDNT PAY THEM BACK, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED SO GET YOUR STORY TOGETHER BEFORE YOU POST THINGS !!! IF THE APARTMENTS ARE SO BAD AND SINCE EVERYONE IS PAYING SO MUCH MONEY, PAY THE MONEY TO BREAK YOUR LEASE AND MOVE !!!! I THINK THAT WOULD MAKE MORE SENSE THAN TO KEEP PAYING FOR BAD SERVICE !!!!

Then when you go to the "front office" bitching and moaning about what happened, you can APPARENTLY say hello to gigi2fine. I bet gigi2fine will high-five the maintenance guy. I want to pick up the Fieldstone employee golf cart and throw it at your face when you are in the middle of a sentence.

Obviously these comments from "Anonymous" are from an office worker and I will NOT move in to these apartments now because of your responses. No wonder you apartments are going to ----- they have you working there.

I agree with the response right above me. Thought that this place would've been great to live in but looking at all the user responses and hearing about rising crime rates in by the complex, I'm certainly going to be sure and stay in the Upper Germantown area.
