Gayoso House Apartments

I love the Gayoso! From: MissAng Date posted: 8/14/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   The Gayoso has been a great place to live as I have made Memphis my new home. It is a beautiful building with charm and a unique feel. There are so many convienences right at my fingertips with Walgreens, restaurants, entertainment, the riverfront, parks and public transportation all within a short stroll. And lets not forget Beale Street. Never will I have to worry about driving home! I have made many friends because of the Gayoso. The management has planned several events at night clubs, Jillians, on the rooftop, etc. that encourage the residents to meet each other. Not knowing anyone in Memphis when I moved here was really intimidating but now I don't have to worry about not seeing friendly faces wherever I go. The maintenance has been better then expected. Everytime I've had a problem or needed help with something, someone is there to help in no time. Marion the maintenance man has even helped me decorate when I couldn't reach things or use a drill! The noise level is virtually nonexistent. I rarely here anyone above, below, or next to me in the neighboring apartments. The only noise I might here is in the hallways and that is really not a big deal. I have loved living here and plan on continuing my lease when it is up.
