Gayoso House Apartments

Great Apartment..If u like being inconvenienced by traffic! From: Urban_Chic Date posted: 9/25/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   The staff is excellent and the building is very quiet. I live on the 6th floor and I can honestly say it's so quite I wonder if anyone else lives on the floor. The security is excellent and helpful. If your car battery dies and you need a boost the security staff can assist. The workout room needs some updating. The overall maintenance of the building inside and out is well maintained. The downside of living here is the weekends. The traffic on Peabody Place is awful because a lot of people are cruising or going to Beale street. Because of the heavy traffic the police will block off the street making it difficult for you to park using the apartment parking lot ($85-$100 monthly) or public parking ($35 monthly). I remember on two occasions I was stuck in traffic for 45 min coming from Union trying to get to the apartment. The apartment is great but the location is awful. I'm moving to a less congested area of Downtown like the South Main District.
