My daughter lived at these apartments and I had to co-sign for the apartment, she made all of her rent payments on time and did not do any damage to the apartments. At the end of her lease, they were going to raise her rent to the month to month lease amount plus 100 dollars for going month to month (about 200 dollars additional rent) my daughter told them that she could not afford the rent and gave her notice (written) that she would move out at the end of her lease. Bottom line is that eight months later I get a call from a collection agency telling me that I owe the apartments $1,200 and they put it on my credit report. The manager that accepted the written is no longer at the apartments and they will not talk to me about this matter, "it's out of their hands", I talk to their attorneys and they say that I have to settle with the folks at the property. I hope an earthquake levels the place.

They did the same thing to us! When your lease is up they don't say a word they just start charging you more to stay there with that "month to month" crap. Isn't the whole purpose of a lease to get you to stay there longer? How does charging people who pay their rent on time more get people to want to stay there? It made me want to leave! In addition - we have animals crawling around in the walls! We have been to maintance FIVE times and they are still in the walls. Three nights out of the last four, we have been awoken at 4 in the morning with these animals fighting in our walls and ceiling! It sounds like they are going to jump out of the fireplace at any moment! I am upset! And my car has been broken into three times. Other than that, Greenbrook is the place to be!
