I live in the apartments, too, and I adore them. They're not Cordova area looking apartments, but they suit my needs.
Even as a female, I'm comfortable enough to walk by myself to my car at night. That says something. I haven't seen any crime. As for being informed of things, they've been very expedient about telling me about things in the neighborhood. Perhaps people just aren't getting their fliers. Or reading them.

Besides a couple mishaps with the office (but that'll happen anywhere) I've been overjoyed with my stay.
