Greenbrook

 

I moved into Greenbrook in January this year.

Concerning my apartment unit, everything has been great.

I still love the high ceilings(I'm on 2nd floor) and the kitchen bar.

All of my appliances have worked perfectly and I can't say I've had a single maintenance issue.

The good things about Greenbrook are- the reasonable pricing, nice landscaping, convinent to interstate.

I would recommend these apartments still but with some reservations about the area.

The main thing you must remember about moving in here is the crime.

I got a unit on the upper level, near Macon rd hoping it would be safer.

What I didn't consider was no matter that I'm on the 2nd floor it's a prime area for crime due to the fast getaway! Last month a woman in my section of Greenbrook(It's pretty big) was assaulted by a serial rapist, and this week my neighbor across the patio from me had her door broken down in bright daylight and was burglarized! Also I've notice periodic flat tires in the parking lot that seem to be deliberate.

Fortunately I haven't been affected directly but this is Memphis after all.

I have a few more months left on the lease and after knowing my neighbor was targeted I have thoughts about breaking the lease.

However, we'll see what happens.
