I did not end up living at the greens but I was so impressed with the amnemities that were offered that I was immediately interested in signing a lease. These people lied to us so badly. They promised us an apartment and gave us an address that we would be moving to. So my roommate and I turned in our 30 day notice at our present apt. Afterwards that night we went to the greens to check out the location of our new apt. We went at night and did not like the fact that they had assigned us an apt all the way in the back on the golf course side that is very dark at night. There were NO lights at all on the pathway to our door so we were concerned about safety. The next day we visited the office to ask if we could have anohter location that was on the parking lot side or at least that had lights on the pathway for safety. This lady named Jennifer was a total B-ITCH about it! She was really uncaring, acted as if our concerns were ridiculous, and told us that we had no other choice and we could take it or leave it. We then asked her about the large number of semi trucks that were parked in the lot we would be parking. She responded "Oh that' Those trucks park there b/c we do construction from time to time on the site". That was crap to me b/c who wants to go home at night, walk to their door in complete darkness, and not know if some crazed trucker/psycho stalker isnt waiting to attack you. Another thing we could not comprehend was the fact they only allow move-ins between the 3rd and 7th of each month. They said that no matter what day you move in even if it's the 7th you still have to pay a full months rent' Who ever heard of paying for services you were not receiving' We were supposed to pay for staying there when we were not even moved in yet' We said we'd talk to the manager about our concerns and politely left. The next day, the manager called us and said that there must have been a mix up they did NOT have an address for us anymore. What the'' These ppl were actually trying to punish us for questioning them and requesting what we preferred. I can tell that place is tyranical. They have the pool and gym closing at 9pm every day of the week(''), they told us that all the leasing agents HAVE to live at the greens, the manager even LIVES upstairs in the main office directly across from the workout gym (how spooky is that' is he a perv'). It seems as if they like to have the type of residents that would be okay with being controlled by them and their rules, but if you show them otherwise you are not welcomed. They suck and they don't deserve to have my money. Don't get stuck with these Manson-like members.
