Awful Management

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
If I told the entire story, we would have a novel on our hands. But, here is the short. We have a very severe leak in the apartment which causes a corner in the dining room floor to be soaking wet, constantly. I called three times to get it repaired, and when nothing happened, I wrote an ugly letter. This is how long it took them to attempt to fix it. They told me that there was no leak. As the problem continued, I continued to call until I finally had to write another letter. This time, they told me that there was a leak and the carpet pad was molded. To fix this, they steam cleaned the area where the mold was. Completely unacceptable. So, I have written yet another letter. Currently, after 3 months of doing nothing, they have cut a hole in our wall to find the leak. Nothing else has been done. Just a molded carpet pad and a hole. Not to mention another problem all together. The gates had not been working in about 5 months. Well, one day the gates were closed and there were codes posted until the access cards were in working order. Coming home from work, I noticed that I could not get into the gate, and there was no one to help. They locked the gates, and took down the codes without warning, leaving a note on the access pad stating "If your access card is not working, please come to the leasing office to get a new one" Heaven forbid, any one come home from work past 5:30. They are the absolute worst management company I have ever delt with. I read one of these complaints before I moved in, and thought "it probabley wanst that bad", well just hope that not a single thing goes wrong with your apartment, and it wont be that bad. I strongly suggest another apartment complex, it's worth the extra money.
