Update: I contacted the management about my experience. They were very apologetic and have handled the situation. Although I am pleased with their response, it is unlikely that I will consider Lincoln on the Green as a home.


I visited Lincoln on the Green this past weekend wanting to view an apartment. I already had all of the information that I needed and was very interested in renting, but wanted to see an apartment first. The first statement out of the leasing agent's mouth was that she would not show us an apartment today because it was after 4:00 (the office did not close until 5:00). When I asked why she would not show an apartment, she simply said that the office was closing at 5:00. Only after I got visibly upset with her did she offer to show an apartment. By that time I was very agitated and had made my mind up that I would not be renting from that community even if I have to pay more elsewhere. I was very disappointed with the way that the leasing agent handled herself. Even if it was indeed too late to show a model (which I dont believe it was) there was a more appropriate way to handle the situation that would still facilitate good customer service. Instead, that leasing agent lost a customer and earned a health vote of disapprovement from me.
