We Lived at Lynnfield for approx 9 months starting in 2001. When we first got there with our belongings our apt wasn?t ready and needed cleand and painted. We went back to our home town 10 hrs away and stayed with relatives for a week and went back to Memphis. When we arrived we found nothing had been done to ready our apt. We had to stay in a hotel for another night and then Lynnfield offered us another unit and gave us 1 month free rent but then the "new" unit was going to cost approx. $70.00/month more!.
For the most part living there was ok except the amount of wasps and roaches, BIG ROACHES, They would come and spray when we asked but a few days later we would see wasps and roaches again. We also notified them of missing weather stripping on our back door when we moved in in Nov. It was finally replaced in late Dec or early Jan, all the while heat was escaping and cold was coming in. When we moved out we had to pay a penalty for early vacancy and we paid all we owed. Seven months later we get a letter from their lawyer stating we owed them over $800.00 including court costs. However, the jokes on them because we have a copy of the cancelled check.
