I lived here from 1998-2000. Overall, I liked the apt (floorplan, space, location). The management was never very good (and I understand it has changed and still has not improved). We always had issues with maintenace problems. Our A/C wasn?t working when we moved in-it was 98 degrees in the upstairs at night(and I had a 4 week old baby!). When they sent maintenace out, they said that since the air was blowing out of the vent at 60 deg, even though it couldn?t cool down the house, they wouldn?t do anything about it. I had to sleep in a bathing suit on the couch with my newborn! Finally, the unit exploded and they were forced to replace it. We also had issues with a leak from the ceiling (attic) that they never fully fixed, and the soap holder in the shower pulled off once and that took them 2 weeks to fix. Plus we got yelled at for using the shower with the tiles out, but I wasn?t going 2 weeks without a shower!



The only other major problem we had was the extremely high power bills (Especially in the winter!)



Also, be very careful when you move out. They were not available to do a walk-through with us and so I took photos when I left. They wouldn?t give us back any of our deposit, and the place was spotless. They even tried to say we owed them more money!



I put the apt name down as part of a rental history for a new apt, and when they called Lynnfield, they said they had no record of us living there. We spoke to the manager and told her when we lived there and who the manager was at the time and she basically called us liars!



Overall-If you can stand the incompetence in the office, it?s OK. I did always feel safe there.
