My husband and I decided to move here bc of the great price and the nice looking updated units. We now know that was a mistake.... within a month of living here his car was broken into and numerous things were stolen, our neighbors car was also broken into twice.The neighborhood is not safe at all... there are groups of guys that sit on the stairs and holler at me when i come in from my night classes, it is very uncomfortable.
we have also had a big problem with wasp since we moved in. Some how they get into our apartment and we have to kill them before they sting us... the apts. know about this and said they would come reseal the windows but they never did, all they have done is sprayed a few times. the other night there was a huge fight outside out apts. a young man was very upset, started beating his friend and repetedly said how he was going to stab everyone outside. The apts. say they have patrols in the complex but we have seen them maybe once... when we called to ask the office why this was they said that is was because the officers were undercover (yeah right).the interior was a little problem as well, the paint job was very sloppy, there are cracks in the wall, uneven celings... also, we have a nice big porch but can't enjoy it due to the wasp that surround our apt.
there are so many other places to live for around the same price so do not move here, it is not worth it. My husband and I are moving out as soon as our lease is up in november.
