Here We Go. I moved to this apartment complex in 1994. At that time it was pretty good service and management. Over the years the quality of management and service and safety has declined rapidly especially since the present management company took over in 2006. Apartments have always had horrible large flying Japanese cockroaches they cannot get rid of inside and wasps outside - that do sting - in any warm weather. The "amenities" are terrible and half the time closed down for some kind of repairs. The security is one rouge cop who can't do anything but harass and threaten people who already live there who have done nothing wrong. Ask about the murder/suicides there. Ask about the woman and her son who killed a police officer who lived there and put him in his car trunk there in the parking lot. The office said they had lost my lease there that had been agreed to but was yet to be signed. They said the girl who had put it together had lost it and now it was going to be higher than the original agent and I had agreed to. Note: office admitted to me there is ASBESTOS inside the ceilings. NOT A JOKE - ASBESTOS. Also while I was there one of the upstairs wood patios broke down and people were hurt. I can't believe I stayed as long as I did. All this is true. Good central location for Memphis. That is the ONLY positve thing I have to say, and you can find another place to live in that area than Lynnfield Place / formerly Stone Mill Apts.
