I lived in Watergrove 1 1/2 years in fall of 1998 to early 2000. Although I thought Fogelman maintenance was super-duper, it was the hood way back then...not as bad as now, but I could tell it was RAPIDLY going to the dogs. There were a few break-ins and it got to where you were afraid to go to take your trash to the dumpster in the evening when you got home from work. The ethnic ratio is way off balance. The office staff was snooty and hard to deal with. they are only friendly when they are trying to rent to you, then, you are only in their way. They act like you are a nuisance if you need something. But the maintenance was right on time when I lived there. Do not be one second late on your rent or you will pay pay pay out the wazoo, and do not expect to get your deposit back. My apt looked better when I moved out than when I signed my lease & I had to threaten to take them to court to get my security dep back. Very noisy neighborhood. Is a pretty fountain at the entrance worth it''''' I have heard lots of nightmares about this place...I am very glad I got out when I did. Oh, yeah. A friend of mine moved out the same time I did because they wouldn't fix the water leaking from another apt into hers, and they charged her pet deposit and 13 months pet rent because they claimed they found some dry cat food on a top shelf in her pantry. I know she did NOT have any pets. What a rip off!!! When she refused to pay, they told her they would see her in court & it would wind up costing her a fortune because they had great attorneys and they could afford to fight it longer than her.

Ethnic ratio? What is that supposed to mean? Because there were a lot of ------ that makes an apartment bad? Please elaborate.
