We have been at Watergrove for 9 months and it has been one problem after another. When we first moved in, the lady with whom we had done our paperwork was not here. They had forgotten that we were moving in and a manager did our "walk-through" inspection with us. Our apartment had so many problems that she said "it doesn't look like this apartment is ready for a move-in, I apologize." We had no other choice but to move-in, but we put in about 8 maintenance requests. As of now they have fixed 2 or 3 of them, the others we have just decided to live with.

The second week we were here, the washing machine broke down and flooded the entrance. I called emergency maintenance, but their idea of an emergency is to come 4 hours later. By the time the maintenance guy came, I had already cleaned up the mess. He inspected our washer but obviously had no idea what the problem was. It took them another two weeks to come out and try to fix the washer. After they "fixed it" I attempted to use it and it flooded our apartment again. Three weeks later, they finally came and installed a different washer, but it's just another old washer that beats against the walls when it runs and sometimes does not complete a cycle.

Security is definitely an issue. We get a paper in our door notifying us of crime in our neighborhood just about every other week. I have never once seen a security guard patrol our area.

Watergrove looks very attractive as you drive by and drive up to the entrance, but in reality everything is very run down. None of the machines in the exercise room actually work. The outdoor pool is nice, but who knows what diseases are growing in the hot tub and sauna.

So, here is the summary - Watergrove will lure you in with "cheap" prices and say they have all kinds of ammenities. The reality is, very few things actually work and when something goes wrong, fix it yourself.
